Lokar S-68151 6" ATS Chromed Shifter Lever Replacement Kit Review

Well,
I've owned a 16" shifter lever and it fit properly... But then I got the replacement of 6" which I like the length better.. However, I installed in my shifter housing and the inner black rod is too long and won't accept the knob... I took out and installed 16" and it fits the knob fine.. So will call Lokar and ask what's up... Also, wish the 6" was also curved or BETTER yet, allow the shifter to aim further from the dash as now the height is correct but the shifter is going into the dash some.. Yes, I adjusted the shifter out but may have to try other options or get the 8" replacement.

FOLLOW UP:

I contacted LOKAR about the issue and they said I am supposed to CUT the inner rod to specified length...... :p

But, after all that I went with another Lokar Shifter Stick length (8") due to this one is a STRAIGHT stick.... And it went up into my dash...

My 8" is perfect...

I have used this and the LEXOL cleaner on several cars and trucks I have owned over the last 10 plus years and I love it. I keep my vehicles until the tires fall off and I like my seats neat. I sold a Jeep with 300,000 miles on it and uncracked leather seats because I used this every month. You may want to do what I do and order a spray bottle of each the cleaner and this conditioner and also order a large refill of the conditioner because I find I use 2-3 times as much conditioner as cleaner. The cleaner is very concentrated and liberal use of this conditioner keeps the leather from getting as dirty so get it very clean once, soak it down with this conditioner then you'll not need to use much cleaner. Follow the directions and you will be happy with this.
