This is by far the best cd reciever I have ever owned and yet it costs alot less than my previous Kenwood($330) and Clarion Pro Audio($300)...After hearing this bad boy,no other brand compares to Alpine, its simple as that.Give this a listen and you'll see what Im talking about. The 50x4 wattage is very clear, and screams,105 db signal to noise ratio is amazingly loud, and the bass engine kicks butt.I got this sucker hooked up to a set of alumadome Memphis tweeters(they scream!),Alpine "4 aluma coated woofers(front)and the bad ass Alpine 6x9's along with 2 bangin 'old school Pioneer 12's(rear)and this radio doesnt struggle at all to push these monsters. My system is powered by a 250 watt Memphis Power Bass Amp.It doesnt have all the features, but as far as "Classic"Alpine...it's got the look and all that great stuff.Trust me you want this oneMost of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Alpine CDA-9825 XM Ready CD Receiver/Changer Controller" are high quality item.
