Thule KIT1387 Roof Racks Review

We needed a roof rack for our 2004 Volvo s60. It took a bit of looking around but we found the right parts on Amazon...2 retailers, separate orders.

The part (1387 Thule kit) is very specifically engineered to our car. Took a little figuring to get the racks positioned in their sweet spots. They are rather close to each other, less than 36", so this is not a good set up for carrying long heavy pieces. We wanted it for surfboards etc and it will be good for that. Without replacing the car which has a specific roof geometry, there is no alternative.Also the rack does not appear to interfere with our sunroof.
