Vega XTS Pinstripe Helmet - X-Small/Pink Pinstripe Review

This helmet is very nicely adorned with a unique graphic pinstriping that appears to be real paint. If it is a decal it is one of the best decal jobs I have ever seen. The gloss overcoat is glass smooth and there is no telltale bump like with any decals I have seen. The fit was exactly as expected. I did cheat and did a cross check on the J&P Cycle website where it has a wide range chart of different helmets and I was using one on their chart. This company was also on th J&P chart so I just did a overlay of the two and came up with the right size. I wear a 7 5/8 hat size and the 2x Vega fits like a glove. The inner cushion feels top notch and covered with a nice velvet type material with no hard points like some inexpensive helmets I have looked at. The strapping is typical D-ring and holds very well and at the right position to not choke you or too far out to allow possible slipping over the chin. All in all a very nice helmet, worth the price and well admired by others. I have received many nice comments on the unique artwork. I would definitely purchase this again should the need arise.
