TYC 20-6512-00 Mitsubishi Galant Driver Side Headlight Assembly Review

Ordered two of these since my 10yr old Galant LS had foggy lenses so I figured I needed some new ones. Took about a hour and a half to install( pretty difficult to reach all the bolts of the front trim. These are beautiful replacements. Mine came with all bulbs and sockets.
Once you get the front trim/bumper removed plus wheel well trim and removal of front tires it just takes some loosening of the bolts and screws, unplug the socket wires to switch out the unit(s).

I only partially loosened the trims to get at the side screw(difficult), but I finally got enough room to fit it in. I recommend going to a body shop / dealer to get this done but if you're good with a few wrenches I'm sure you can do the install.

These have more of a spotlight type output, perhaps the bulbs might play a role in that....I'm going to try other but I think it's more the inside reflectors. Nice and bright! Better than what I had on my 10yr old Galant LS.
