Panasonic CQ-C7103U 3D Graphics Motorized Face MP3/WMA/CD Receiver (50W X 4 max) Review

I have owned this radio for several years now. I only have one complaint. After a couple of years the faceplate gear/clutch came apart and it has been nearly impossible to find a replacement. This gear/clutch is the link to the gear train from the driving worm gear that brings the faceplate up and down. On the upside the faceplate is spring loaded for the up position so if it does blow this gear you can still manually work it. I was able to find a different model with the same display system and was able to get the gear/clutch out of that one. With the exception of this one problem I have had no complaints. The head unit has been very good to me. I love having a 7 band equalizer and high and low pass filters built into the radio as well as independent sub woofer control. The only thing keeping this radio from a 5 star is the trouble hunting down a replacement gear/clutch, though other replacement parts are readily available for those that are savvy enough to repair their own devices.
