I did have this K&N filter for a few years with an Extreme Top. Someone did mention to me that with the Extreme top it is not Coast Guard Approved. I did some checking and he was right. I went on line to check out what a new K&N filter would cost and immediately took advantage of a super price that AMAZON had for the filter with the Coast Guard Approved Top. I am really happy with the product and deal.
